Hi.
I have some new pieces in the works, so please continue to subscribe. Work at SPIN has really picked up, which is great ($$$), but it is draining. Hence, the silence here.
Meanwhile, here’s a preview of The Horse’s Mouth: Cleveland. This was filmed late at night, outside of our motel room. Ryan and I were just trying to get a few b-roll shots when these fellas got our attention. Complete strangers to each other, Ghost and Bibi were outside having a few laughs while drinking some ice cold beers in the snow.
Ghost had been holed up at the RR with his son, Ghost Jr., while he awaited his next trucking assignment. Bibi, who was from Texas, was in town fighting for custody of his kid. The silent woman in the video worked at the Red Roof. She wasn’t thrilled about being on camera. Later we learned that she had some…issues, let’s say. Hope no authorities are watching!
Anyway, here’s the video. Sorry if the sound isn’t the best - again, we were just trying to get some b-roll and didn’t have the audio equipment with us. I still think it’s a fun little short. I love mixing it up with strangers. Most people are decent. That’s always the takeaway from traveling to different places. Plus, I’m constantly telling my wife that I’m a real “man of the people”. I think this video proves it.
Enjoy.
